Thought

From Vipassana Explanations

I like to consider my thought-process as an organ: it constantly creates thoughts. These thoughts are there for me. These thoughts help me. They warn me for risks. They alert me of possibilities.

A thought is begging for my attention. Once given my attention, a thought gets less demanding for my attention, I get back to being calm.

I once drew a picture on my development from considering myself as a thinker to considering myself a being.
